La Molisana, from the South of Italy in Campobasso, have been making pasta for over one hundred years. One Valentine's Day they ran an advert that depicted two pasta hearts next to each other with the quote 'fall in love every day'. This prompted many of their customers to ask whether the shape existed and if it were possible to make it. So, La Molisana decided to create a new heart-shaped pasta ex-truder! The engineering process focused on delivering a harmonious shape and the right proportions.
